Grand Theft Auto Vice City Removed From Steam Because of an MJ Song

What? This isn’t really uncommon these days unfortunately. Some games get pulled from digital stores because of licensing issues. The latest is Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto Vice City. It was taken off of Steam because of a licensing issue with Sony Music Entertainment reportedly relating to Michael Jackson’s Wanna Be Startin’ Something. Rockstar commented on Steam’s message boards replying to fans “we’ll make it available again as soon as possible.”

The good news for gamers who already bought it is that you can still download the game and play it. But you can’t buy it anymore, until this is sorted out.
