We’ve got something cool for you today!

Someone has claimed to have hacked and datamined Tekken Tag 2 on the 360 and says they’ve captured images of secret characters.

These characters would be:

Bob (in what seems to be a skinnier form, possibly younger)

Violet

Unknown (previous Tekken Tag boss)

Sebastien (Lilly’s butler)

Miharu (Schoolmate to Xiaoyu)

And who could forget.. The good Dr. Bosconovitch

Well, if these are legit, then thats some good fan service.

In any case, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is out today on PS3 and Xbox 360!

Check out this new trailer Namco Bandai just released…

Cheers,

Thomas E.

Hideo Kojima has posted some screenshots of the Tokyo Game Show 2012 build of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. These pictures, while taken off a monitor with his phone, look amazing, demonstrating the high level of graphical quality the game will have. It is clear that Platinum Games is continuing their trend of high quality visuals paired with high intensity action ala Bayonetta and Vanquish.

Check out these pictures of Hideo Kojima’s Japanese Twitter account:

The last 2 shots is of Hideo Kojima with Yoji Shinkawa (long time Konami artist and Kojima Productions collaborator) testing out the TGS build of MGR. Kojima called this version of RaidenBlack Raiden“. Presumably more information on the significance of the black suit will be revealed soon. A new character will also be revealed at Tokyo Game Show, but little is known about that at this point.

2 more screenshots were posted on the Neogaf forums but we have not been able to verify the authenticity of these shots…

There will be more information about the Konami published game at this years TGS which will be running from September 20 – 23, 2012.

Composer and producer of the highly acclaimed survival horror series Silent Hill, Akira Yamaoka has recently formed a band for the purposes of showcasing his music live. The band which has been named by the community as “The Silent Hill Band” performed its first live show on US soil September 1st, 2012 in Glendale, Arizona (near Phoenix). We were on the scene and captured the full Silent Hill concert (except for the first 4 minutes). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qgs53vA-cX4 Reviewing the show… it was a strong performance, especially when you factor in that this is the band’s first ever performance. Akira Yamaoka played guitar, often busting out soaring solos. Vocals were done by Mary Elizabeth McGlynn, who is of course the original singer of the songs from the game and an accomplished voice actress. On bass guitar and back up vocals was Troy Baker, also a veteran voice actor. In between bass licks he would hype up the crowd.  Last, but certainly not least, on drums was hero drummer Joe Romersa who gave a thrilling Bonhamesque performance. They performed various pieces from the Silent Hill series ranging from heavy metal tracks all the way to ambient ballads. There was also some music from Shadows of the DAMNED performed. The next day, they performed a second show in Arizona. At this show, Yamaoka-san played a fan’s guitar live on stage. Amazing fan service! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mGkYo2MFh3c Here is Jimmy holding his Akira Yamaoka signed and soloed guitar.. On the 3rd day, they also performed a live “unplugged” show and answered questions from fans. No one knows what the future holds for Akira Yamaoka and his Silent Hill band, but we’ll let you know when we find out. Check out the full image gallery of Akira Yamaoka and the Silent Hill band
