Fans of the fighting game series Tekken were disappointed by the live action Tekken movie in 2010. Fortunately, Tekken: The Motion Picture exists and although it’s a typical 90’s anime, it is pretty good. It tells the story of a boy’s mission for revenge on his father, who threw him off a cliff when he was a boy. The boy, Kazuya Mishima a street fighter. The father, Heihachi Mishima, a tycoon who holds martial arts competitions. What better way to get back at your dad? Tekken: The Motion Picture stays pretty close to the Tekken story, with only minor adjustments. Over all, all the key characters are well represented and the movie serves as good gamer entertainment.
