The new president of Square Enix, Yosuke Matsuda, spoke to the press regarding his plans to improve Square Enix. This comes shortly after the company revealed that he will be replacing and that the company predicts a 13 billion Yen loss.

40 full time developers were laid off from High Moon Studios, a subsidiary of Activision. This is the same studio that is behind the recent highly rated Transformers games and the upcoming Marvel Comics’ Deadpool video game. The cuts in staff happened after the studio finished work on Deadpool, according to a statement made by Activision.
