Today, Konami erected a statue of Jehuty in Tokyo’s Akihabara district. This is of course to celebrate the release of Zone of the Enders HD Collection which is due out from Konami and Kojima Productions on October 30, 2012. The statue can be found on top of the Shimura Musen Building in Tokyo, Japan.

The highly anticipated Metal Gear Rising Revengeance is getting one of the most impressive Collector’s Editions we’ve ever seen. The collectors edition will include the game in a steelbook case, a soundtrack CD, and a High Frequency Plasma Lamp with a model of Raiden’s High Frequency blade inside.

Today, Konami & Kojima Productions announced that its new Metal Gear title, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, will not be coming out on Microsoft’s Xbox 360 in Japan. The Platinum Games developed title starring Raiden will only be released on PS3 in the land of the rising sun. Konami apologized for it, stating that it was due to various reasons. Hideo Kojima has posted some screenshots of the Tokyo Game Show 2012 build of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. These pictures, while taken off a monitor with his phone, look amazing, demonstrating the high level of graphical quality the game will have. It is clear that Platinum Games is continuing their trend of high quality visuals paired with high intensity action ala Bayonetta and Vanquish.
