Movies For Gamers is a section of BabysoftMurderhands.com where we post and discuss a trailer for a classic cult movie. The movies we select will hopefully be movies that gamers will love too. And of course, if you haven’t seen it, we’ll give you a link to get it.

Although it may seem cliche’ to post an action movie as a Movie for Gamers, video games are actually packed with action. Predator demonstrates a lot of what’s done in games… avoiding traps, intense fights, gathering supplies, etc. In this 80’s action film we follow some special ops guys as they discover an alien hunter in the jungle. They quickly change from commando bad asses into hunted prey. Arnold Schwarzenegger is in prime form as he battles the elusive alien predator. The Predator itself packs some fun toys, include invisibility cloaking, acidic blood and an arsenal of deadly weapons.

Surprisingly, Predator has received very few games as a stand alone IP, most Predator video games also include the Alien franchise. There a couple Predator games though, namely one released for Amiga, Atari, NES and other 80’s boxes simply called Predator which has you playing as Arnie himself. There’s also a Playstation 2 game based on a graphic novel called Predator Concrete Jungle which you play as a predator . Here is a list of exclusively Predator based games.
