Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening was originally released on the Gameboy in 1993. It was critically acclaimed and considered one of the best handheld games of all time. Later on, Nintendo colorized the game and added a new dungeon which took advantage of having color and added a new screenshot feature.
The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening is a big adventure improving on the original game’s formula in many ways, including graphics. The DX rerelease on Gameboy Color took a step further by colorizing the game. You can enjoy it today also on Virtual Console for Nintendo 3DS.
