Microsoft gets backlash for charging to trade used games while fans urge Sony against PS4 used game blocking

The Xbox One will not allow users to freely trade used games. Instead you’ll have to pay a fee to Microsoft to do so. Consequently, many Xbox One hopefuls are complaining and slamming Microsoft for it. In the meantime, Sony fans are urging the Japanese electronic giant to not block used games on the Playstation 4.

Details emerge that Microsoft’s Xbox One will be region locked

A Microsoft spokesperson explains Xbox One’s region protection, “Similar to the movie and music industry, games must meet country-specific regulatory guidelines before they are cleared for sale.
