The Xbox One will not allow users to freely trade used games. Instead you’ll have to pay a fee to Microsoft to do so. Consequently, many Xbox One hopefuls are complaining and slamming Microsoft for it. In the meantime, Sony fans are urging the Japanese electronic giant to not block used games on the Playstation 4.
Not very surprising at all. A Microsoft spokesperson explains Xbox One’s region protection, “Similar to the movie and music industry, games must meet country-specific regulatory guidelines before they are cleared for sale. We will continue to work with our partners to follow these guidelines with Xbox One.”
