Phoenix Comicon is a yearly pop culture convention in Phoenix, Arizona. It brings together some of the South West’s greatest cosplayers and fans together for a great experience. Saboten Con 2014 in Arizona was a lot of fun. There was a game room which had plenty of fighting games to play, in addition to several casual play games. In 1994 Banpresto released Dragon Ball Z V.R.V.S. on the Sega’s System 32arcade platform. This game featured a unique perspective from other fighting games, and showed the battle from behind your character facing toward your opponent. It was a 3d like experience, with drawn anime animations, instead of sprites, and featured full flight combat. The controls for each player were 3 buttons and their trusty joystick.
Sony’s Japanese Development Division has been flexing their creative muscles, and showing some amazing results. I’m referring to Rain and Puppeteer, which were debuted at GamesCom.
