Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two earned decent reviews upon its release back in November 2012. Epic Mickey 2 is available on WiiU, Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Mac, and PC. It received praise for Epic Mickey 2‘s story and surprises, but got some negatives from its jumping mechanics and of course your ‘wonderful’ partner Oswald. However it sold 1 million fewer copies than the original Epic Mickey back in 2010. Disney’s Epic Mickey had sold 1.3 million copies in North America and Epic Mickey 2 sold 270,000 copies. The Epic Mickey series developer Junction Point Studios stated that Epic Mickey was planned as a four game series, however no other games have been announced for the series just yet. Does Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion for the 3DS count as one of the four games? I actually hope not. I myself really did enjoy the first Epic Mickey, so I’m looking forward to more in this Disney series. But video games are all about sales, which leaves the possibility of an Epic Mickey 3 in limbo despite the interest in making it.
