At the Playstation 2013 event, Sony revealed it’s much anticipated home console, the Playstation 4. Although they didn’t actually show the physical unit, they did reveal specific PS4 specs in addition to showing the Dual Shock 4 controller. Furthermore, Sony will also be releasing the Playstation 4 Eye, which is a much more advanced camera tracking system than current systems.

Mojang, the Indie Game studio behind Minecraft, is coding video games to raise money for charity. They are working along with some other Indie Game studios such as: Grapefrukt, Ludosity, Oxeye Game Studio, Vlambeer, and Wolfire Games. The studios’ work will be livestreamed for the next 78 hours as an event known as Mojam 2 (aka: Mojam 2013).
Square Enix is celebrating the 10th anniversary of Kingdom Hearts with their first free to play browser game called Kingdom Hearts X Chi. The player can travel to different Disney worlds and battles are done though a strategic card game. Items can be earned and unlocked, or you can pay to get them sooner, which is common to the free to play business model.
