With the fighting game renaissance of the past few years, arcade sticks have made a comeback. Mad Catz revamped it’s product line introducing high end arcade sticks, a territory previously dominated by Japanese controller maker, Hori.
Hori is back now with a wireless arcade stick. It uses Bluetooth and provides about 40 hours of gameplay via it’s rechargeable battery. You can also plug it in to recharge the stick via USB. It’s called the Wireless Real Arcade Pro.V3 SA (WRAP). The controller is due out for release in Japan Summer of 2013 for Playstation 3 and retails for about 15,800 Yen (about $150). Presumably it can also be used with PC’s like other USB based controllers.
Hopefully Hori will release it in the US so players can get their Street Fighter on wirelessly.
