Monster Hunter 4

Capcom just posted a new trailer for its upcoming game Monster Hunter 4. The trailer demonstrates a pretty active town with people walking around and doing things. Then it shows large environments in the world which include a pretty cool looking volcano. The combat looks pretty streamlined too allowing for easier combo attacks and dodging. We also see a demonstration of a new weapon type, which is a sort of bladed staff.

You can watch the Monster Hunter 4 trailer below…

There a second trailer which demonstrates more MH4 goodness…

It looks pretty good despite the icky graphics of the 3DS; hopefully it will also enjoy a console release. Monster Hunter 4 has a Japanese release date of “Summer 2013” and will be for Nintendo 3DS. No US release date has been announced yet.

Kirby and the Amazing Mirror is the last Kirby for Game Boy Advance and one of the longest Kirby games made. It was released in 2004 and developed by Flagship, Dimps and HAL Laboratory. It’s gameplay is RPG like allowing your character to improve over time. It’s also got larger levels in the fashion of Castlevania and Metroid, with sub bosses and bosses.

Kirby and the Amazing Mirror was well received due to its more complex levels and secrets. It also allowed you to explore the world in the game, beating stages in different orders. It was later rereleased for 3DS.
