Upon it’s release, Kill Bill was one of the most hyped up films to be released; and not without reason. Directed by Quentin Tarantino, starring Uma Thurman and the late David Carradine, Kill Bill was a 2 part epic film. Intense sword play combined with thorough storytelling allowed actors to shine in their performances. It told a brutal story of revenge as Uma Thurman’s character fought her way through various villains until she was able to face Bill, the man who tried to kill her on her wedding day.
Stocked up with plenty of fight scenes, Kill Bill kept the action rolling. Most of the fights were with interesting and deadly foes, which could make a great video game. It’s influence can also be seen in modern pulp action games. Furthermore, it counters it’s live action sequences with animated interludes that further the story and the action. Surprisingly, there are no Kill Bill video games besides an unofficial Postal 2 mod.
