Bungie shows off Destiny character art & models

Bungie Destiny character art models

If you’re one of the many Bungie fans thats eager to learn and see more about their upcoming game, Destiny, then check this out. It shows you Bungie’s internal character sketches and concepts and how they’ve been rendered into Destiny. This was shown at GDC 2013. The coolest part about this video is how much Bungie is straying from what people know them for in Halo while still retaining their style. Like the “Hive” creature pictured above looks really cool, almost reminding me of Doom 3. The character that’s in knight like armor also shows off Bungie’s designer talent.

Here is a quick description and picture of each character class show in the Destiny video…

VEX, a sort of robotic, bipedal killing machine.

Fallen, a 4 armed, dual blade wielding, predator in knights armor.

Cabal, a double wide bruiser carrying a rifle.

Hive, skeletal looking aliens.

Titan, a knight will full armor and a rifle.

Warlock, who dons a big coat and an even bigger gun.

Hunter, favors light armor and creature bones along with it’s assault rifle.

It’s worth noting that these are obviously early development versions of each character type. Furthermore, there appears to be great room for variation in how each class can look, which could hint at very deep character customization. Destiny will be released for PS3, Xbox 360 and PS4, although no release date has been announced yet.
